It's fair to say we're in the flow of this 2021 malarkey now, with the shops absolutely packed to the brim, and then some! This time around we've got returning favourites from some of London's finest juice merchants, Pressure Drop, crispy goodness from Braybrooke, core range classics from Howling Hops and a partnership with some of the best AF dealers around, Lucky Saint. That's not forgetting of course, a heavyweight web drop featuring the likes of Cloudwater, DEYA, and Verdant (more on them next week with that very special Double IPA). But up first, something on our latest addition to the family...

U P D A T E
Time for a little sneak peek behind the paper curtain! We're pretty pumped to say Will, Herb, and the team are full steam ahead on our E17, depot dream spot. A HQ of sorts, it'll house all of those exciting pallets, plus we'll be going 100% on the cold store front, both for online orders and the shop (with fridges just like those front-facing beauts in Balham). With a staggered opening we'll be hoping to move the online shop and begin the logistics fun in mid-February, and on a (arguably) more exciting note...
It goes without saying that when it's safe to do so (and when we've gone from bombsite to plush taproom) we'll have a pretty chunky drink-in section, with booths, tables, bar space along the windows and basically seating galore. Around eight taps for beers, alongside all the cold ones you could ever imagine, plus some exciting food in the works has really made for something we can all look forward to. You could even say the beery light at the end of the tunnel - just don't ask us any time soon when that'll be!

After a mere two weeks or so without Pale Fire we're not ashamed to say we were truly jonesing for its return, even trying to wish it into life by ordering from the team at Pressure Drop... a few times, despite knowing deep down it was sold out - our bad. Thankfully, this beautifully balanced Citra and Mosaic delight of an American Pale Ale is back and absolutely singing in all it's bitter orange glory. Meanwhile, we can absolutely get on board with the sentiment (if not the reality) of Escape The City. This is one of their best-received IPAs ever, and it’s dank passionfruit, come zesty grapefruit smoothie body is a stroke of tropical genius. Thankfully, to cap things off we’ve also got a restock of DDH Pale Parachute, a beer that seems to always land the juicy landing.

It's no secret we're massive fans of Lucky Saint, which pound for pound is our favourite AF effort, bar none. If you've never tried it before this No-Abv banger is born of Bavarian spring water, pilsner malt, zesty, floral Hallertau hops and their canny single-use yeast for biscuity brilliance and a smooth, clean citrus finish. No surprises then why we're admirers, and why we thought it ideal to partner up with those friendly folks to offer a little something extra.
