We're delighted to return this week with an absolutely bumper crop, headed up by the DIPA to end all DIPAs (and one to leave your pals green with envy). There's also web wonders from the likes of Left Handed Giant, Cloudwater, Wylam & more. And, rest assured stalwarts Pressure Drop, Siren and Gluten Free Geniuses First Chop are all present and correct. Meanwhile in the wine world, we've got the skin contact, Serbian staple Kovidinka back, along with everyone and their mothers favourite Vinho Verde, Chin Chin. Now then, let's get this show on the road...

Itβs the first date of the year every hazehead puts in their diary - the fluffiest, smoothest, juiciest beer, otherwise known as Putty is back. Verdant's hottest, hoppiest property just couldn't arrive without a good piece of fanfare, and we're more than happy to stoke the flames of the hype train. Here, umami-filled mango, lemon, citrus and earthy peach notes coalesce for a tropical fruit salad smoothie. Though it's already Sold Out Online (more on the way next week so no need to panic!), all our shops have just had stock transferred in, but don't bet on it hanging around...
For those after something a little more quenching, or if you just want to supplement this stonker with some midweek beers, we've also got core classics Lightbulb and Headband back in. For those who haven't dove into the murky water yet, the former is a wonderfully crisp, clean and citrus-filled extra pale ale. While the latter is a bittersweet, lush orange dank bomb - think stinky cheese, caramel and overripe mango, but in a good way.

Last month you thirsty folks absolutely tore through our Burnt Mill supplies, so we've doubled down on the Suffolk superstars this time around. If one mega Double IPA a week doesn't quite scratch that hype itch, we're lucky enough to have two more from these legends, including their renowned collab with Finback, Swimming Giants. Boasting strictly A-list hops Citra, Strata, Idaho-7 and Nelson Sauvin this is a colossal, tropical explosion of hoppy joy. For those after punchy green fun, but just a little more grown up, Great Bitter Falls is a West Coast DIPA of it's own massive proportions. A clean refreshing bitterness is paired with sheer piney power for a remarkably drinkable brew, proving themselves once again some of the best around at the often overlooked style.
Continuing on a theme Glints Collide heads in a deeper, darker direction. Comprising a mix of 8 base malts, the wort is whirpooled with cocoa nibs and shells, and then fermented with lager yeast. Afterwards, it's given an extended conditioning period at low, low temperatures for crazy cocoa complexity, and a polished, crisp body. In contrast Higher Grounds aims for rich, sweet malt goodness complimented by cold steeped Has Bean single origin Guatemalan coffee beans for balanced, beautiful roasty notes. Finally, pale perfection arrives in the form of their flagship hoppy all-day drinker Pintle, alongside Magnetic Fields a super fresh, sessionable-ish New England Pale with flavours of freshly crushed gooseberry, pineapple and light pine.

We're continually striving to improve our Gluten Free offerings, and with the likes of Siren's Lumina and Futurist, to Brick's Peckham Helles or Gipsy Hill's Bandit there are now more options than ever. However, for sheer choice and quality, First Chop are truly a godsend. From the lush Mango Pale JAM, to their malty Bitter MCR or new crisp Vienna Lager in ACE they continually hit it out the park across a broad range of styles. So, whether you're strictly off the G-Stuff or you're just curious enough to reduce that intake, you can't go wrong with this lot.

It's not often that we manage to grab these two favourites, let alone both at the same time! First up, the cult Serbian Orange, Kovidinka is back in full force. Full of grip, with a savoury, quince edge this represents extraordinary value from a truly under-appreciated winemaking region. Of course, we've also got that Instagram wine in good supply. Though many have tried to dismiss the Portugese star as simple timeline fodder, this is a true gem, buzz-withstanding. A real beer-lovers wine, there's complex notes of crisp green apples, and candied citrus peel in this spritzy and dry nectar-like Vinho Verde. Chin Chin!
