Supervisor - Wood St Depot
The opportunity has arisen to become a supervisor at our largest bar and shop location on Wood St, Walthamstow. Working directly with our General Manager Sam, this is a fast paced and busy outlet with a very strong neighbourhood feel and loyal local customer base. As such we are looking for a friendly and personable candidate with a desire to hit the ground running and get to know our E17 community. This role is suited to candidates with strong previous experience in the craft beer industry and/or with experience in a similar bar or retail setting.
The role is focussed on but not limited to:
Conducting an efficient and friendly bar service
Expressing passion and enthusiasm for craft beer and wine
Maintaining a friendly and welcoming bar and shop environment
Organising the fridges and cellar in an efficient and orderly manner
Ordering stock and maintaining good supplier relationships
Implementing creative and effective merchandising displays
Directing and inspiring other members of staff
Striving to achieve sales targets and growth
Reporting to the General Manager and COO
Supervisor roles are based on 5 days (40-45 hours per week) at an initial pay rate of £13.10/h with regular availability for weekend work essential. Shop Assistants - Wood St Depot
We are currently looking for full and part-time shop assistants to come on board 3-5 days a week at our Wood St Depot. As a dynamic and expanding company we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a strong commitment to and experience of the craft beer industry and can excel in a demanding and fast paced environment.
These roles are focused on but not limited to:
Expressing passion and enthusiasm for craft beer
Running a friendly and efficient bar service
Using knowledge to guide customers with beer choices
Cleaning and tidying the premises to a high standard
Maintaining strict control of stock and cash
Managing the cellar and cleaning beer lines
Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
Implementing creative and effective displays and merchandising
Liaising and communicating with staff effectively
