We're pushing the boozy Bank Holiday boat out this week with an insane amount of Spring-ready suds landing across the shops and online. With everything from hazy Brighton bangers courtesy of Unbarred to the soft launch of our incredible exclusive natural wine cans from Mad Med, to hoppy home comforts from Verdant and Vibrant Forest, there's a lot to love!

Once the weekend has been and gone you can also start refilling your fridge with Webby freshies from Cloudwater (the Chubbles-a-thon continues), Floc (Verdant DIPA collab!), Siren (Barrel Aged Caribbean Chocolate Cake anyone?), Schofferhofer Juicy Pineapple(!), The Kernel (Dark Mild phwoar) and Howling Hops (sessionability galore).

Meanwhile, our adored Managers have selected to shout about some of our nearest and dearest in Siren, Devil's Botany, Two Flints, Pilton, Luke's Cider and more.

Finally, a reminder that our 9th Birthday celebrations begin with a MASSIVE DEYA tap takeover next Friday down the Wood St Depot. Kicking off from 6pm right through to Saturday, we'll have at least six taps of croc heaven plus rising street food stars The Italians Upstairs cooking up some glorious small plates to pair perfectly with ALL the pints. BE THERE!

Established in 2014 from the shed of founder and Head Brewer Jordan Mower, Unbarred set out to brew uncompromising and exciting beer from the outset, garnering acclaim and a rabid fanbase at lightning speed. Previously 'phantom' brewing at other sites, they soon established a taproom and production facility in the heart of Brighton in August 2019, in turn doubling their output and enabling them to embrace the local community they know and love.

Known for their ludicrously suppable hazy Pales like the aptly titled Joosy, alongside ingenious Pastry Stouts like Bueno Shake, we're now delighted to work with them delivering directly to all the shops, ensuring fresher beers, cheaper prices, and a more extensive selection. Win, win, win.

Having launched the resinous, oily Hazy IPA perfection that is Dank Juice in Wood St just last week along with street food legends Chuckaburger it's obvious they sure know their way around a green juicebomb. Crammed with Cashmere, Chinook, Citra, Mosaic and Strata hops this has bags of fruity dankness, papaya, lemon, citrus and pine culminating in a smooth, tingly finish.

Further new faves joining the fray for the occasion include Throwin' Shade. Continuing the theme, this is a Summery, saturated affair with sticky, bright ripe fruit brought to the fore. Enlisting Triple Fruited Sour geniuses Brew York to join them, their Honeyberry Pie is also not to be sniffed at! Here a tart Berliner Weisse base is topped with almost a tonne of Honeyberries (think the lovechild of blueberry and cranberries) for sweet, complex berry notes, with additions of vanilla and warming cinnamon to take this Sour to pastry town.

There's plenty more where that came from with the likes of ginger and lemongrass tea Sour Amazonian Zing, crispy-clean GF Cold IPA Skelter, and dark beer supreme Stoutzilla dotted around the shops. Rest assured though whatever you pick up from these fine folks, you'll be getting double loyalty points in-store, with 10% off 6 or more beers online. Long live these Brighton beauties!

That's right, we're delighted to finally debut our very own, exclusive, actually amazing canned natural wine! A new project from the team, and our friends, at Domaine de La Mongestine (also of Bob Singlar) Mad Med are wild fermented, unfiltered and low sulphur wines in a two-glass serving straight from Provence.

Having tried a mountain of canned vino over the last few months (very few of which can claim to be natural or no/low) we think these stand head-and-shoulders above the rest with vibrant, quenching, juicy acidity, and pure fruit flavour at the forefront, with just a little hint of natty funk. All designed to be drunk chilled, we have a Red, Orange, Rose and Sparkling RosΓ©. You can take a gander at the individual tasting notes at the link below to find your new favourite, but suffice to say we think half of London might be drinking these by July.

Oh, and in case you need further incentive, these are launching with 10% off 4 or more cans online and in-store, with samples available across the shops just so you know they're the real deal! Maybe we're not so Mad after all...

(P.S. For those in the Trade, we also Wholesale these with the rest of our Import crackers!)

We could think of no double header better suited to soundtrack your Easter Bank Holiday than Vibrant Forest and Verdant. For the former, it's been a long time coming but we finally have the people's Pale Pupa returning in all its quenching, stone fruit glory. Arriving alongside we have zippy dry-hopped Sour Fluidity, and the crisp Saison Farmhouse, delivering peppery, earthy and fruity Belgian brilliance to keep the selection nice and rounded.

Back to the hoppy heaven, and you'll find Inaudible a piney, herbaceous Hazy Pale in tandem with the luxurious Deep Cover, a NEIPA oozing with vivid grapefruit notes atop a slick mouthfeel. Finally, White Tail Blue Pine is a DIPA ode to an extremely underrated hop in Summit. A tangerine dream, this is pithy, with a long bracing finish and plenty of resinous citrus notes bubbling up underneath. Dive into the hazy water below!

We're ticking just about every juicy box this week with Verdant. Feeling something balanced and crushable, at sub 5.0% you've got Lightbulb. Fancy trying their newest core range addition? You have Sundialer, a moreish Pale with zingy lime, dank grapefruit, and bitter citrus peel to boot. Of course, if you want to step things up a little we also have the-still crushable West Coast IPA This Is Memorial Device, with pine sap, funky grape and big resin enveloping every last sip.

All-time favourites like single hop Citra IPA, I Played Trumpet and the tangy, umami DIPA triumph Don't Tell Gus are also all present and correct. And, rounding things off we just had to nab some Baby Gus, also known as Gus Knows! Like its big brother Citra and Mosaic are the main players with a sprinkle of Enigma and Idaho 7 added for good measure providing a huge body and punchy, fruit-forward flavours aplenty. Dare we say the best drop of the year from our Falmouth faves, just maybe!
