Welcome back everybody, we're overjoyed to say it's FINALLY the big day! That's right it's our 9th Birthday this weekend and boy do we have some reasons to be cheerful. Collaboration has always been foundational to why we do what we do, so we're delighted to celebrate in suitable style featuring some of our latest and greatest, including the Birthday Beer itself, Faraway Town.
Next up, we highlight the boozy bashes across the shops to toast the big day at. If you're a Wood St local head on down to our Mad Med Launch Party TONIGHT featuring Max of Domaine De La Mongestine himself, Pete Willes dishing out Provençal plates, DJ Endri spinning tunes, and plenty of juicy natty wine without corkage. We've also got Pillars at Hoe St with a mega competition, and tasting, plus Mondo down St John's Hill, Villages at Forest Hill, and Boatyard in Kentish Town all happening today.
A big thanks too for those of you who came on down to our DEYA TTO or Mav x Pressure Drop beer and food pairing, both were absolutely mega if we do say so ourselves.

Forgive us for patting ourselves on the back but we can't quite believe we've reached the grand old age of nine! From our humble beginnings in the OG E5 shop where many an all-nighter has been pulled, to the chaos of running everything Online during lockdown #1, and then back to relative normality having now opened that same number of shops (including our sister vino spot Gnarly Vines) it's been a rollercoaster for Will and Tom, and for all of us for sure!
Now more than ever, we'd just like to say a massive thanks to everyone who's supported us along the way by picking up a can or a bottle. We can't overstate just how grateful we are to be in the position of slinging you the best bevs week-in week-out, and of course to see you all in-store or Online for a natter. Obviously, a huge shout out to our awesome team past and present, as well as our incredible suppliers, we couldn't do it without you all. Now, onto the fun at hand...
To commemorate nine years of straight suds shenanigans we're offering double loyalty points on all our latest and greatest collabs. Leading the charge is Faraway Town (Time & Tide), our juicy Session SIPA built for all-party long supping, as well as the sherbety Sour sensation, Totalmente Tropicale (Pastore). Our tried and true Clapton Helles lands with a fresh crispy batch too, while there's the last of our decadent Pastry Stout King Cookie with E5 Bakehouse and Howling Hops as well as smoothie stunner Daiquiri Dreaming with Brick.
It's not all beer though, and we're delighted to have made some real strides in the vino world this year past, beginning to import our own exclusives, while also opening up a Wholesale wing in tandem. As such the bestselling, bright, silky Garnacha takes pride of place alongside our clean, saline stunner Xarel-Lo. That's not forgetting our own Single Barrel Cask Whisky with East London Liquor Company, a rare, rich, malty delight. Completing the set we have our cult favourite, pocket-perfect Mezcal Margarita with Whitebox present and correct. We challenge you to only have one of this smoky, citrusy delight!
We're not resting on our laurels though with plenty more exciting specials in the pipeline. Although we're dedicated to curating the best in craft, working alongside some of those makers we've looked up to since day one has been a true joy. With our first delivery live and direct from the source going down an absolute treat, we could think of no one better for a shop-wide drop on our Birthday week than Beak. Now, with even fresher brews, ample new specials and sharper prices, we absolutely cannot wait to work with the Lewes Legends on a tighter basis.
This time around we have the effortlessly suppable Session Pale Lulla which delivers zesty spruce, and passion fruit goodness at an easy-drinking 3.8%. Flagship IPA Parade makes its comeback, brimming with dank mango and tangerine. Meanwhile, Helles Lund supplies the crisp, complex magic with notes of hay, fresh sourdough and mountain-side wildflower meadows.
