We hope you're all keeping well, and are all the better seeing us back in your inboxes with another superb selection of boozy belters. This week sees Brew By Numbers headline, while we're delighted to debut our pretty exceptional new Tote Bags, designed by artist extraordinaire Gavin Connell. There's also fresh grape glory in the form of wines from the pioneering ChΓ’teau Peybonhomme-Les-Tours, who are not just your average Bordeaux producer. In addition, there's a literal blink and you'll miss it drop from the notorious Cantillon online. Enough said about that one.

Finally, around the grounds the wine wonders continue with Roche-Audran and Entre Vinyes, while our Managers also sing the praises of Tilquin, Signature, Brulo, and more. But first, on with the show...

O.G. members of the Bermondsey beer scene, and now operators of one of London's finest taprooms in Morden Wharf, Brew By Numbers have been making some absolute classics in the capital since 2011. Never one to rest on their laurels, they've become renowned for their diversity of output, but with a particular penchant (and panache) for hoppy Pales, rustic Lagers, and smoothie-style Sours. To celebrate their sheer experimentation, and to honour over 11 years of suds service, we've got a host of bangers that span the style spectrum.

Like if your favourite zesty ice cream melted in the sun, but actually fun, BBNo's Summer Fruits Solero Gose is the sequel to their hit Summer Sour, and somehow it excels past that fantastic original. The liquid expression of an exotic fruit sorbet, peach, pineapple, mango, guava and passion fruit combine with a mouth-coating body on top of a creamy vanilla sweetness, for a tantalisingly tart slammer. Hitting similar fruity heights, their latest DDH Pale Ale showcases new season Nelson Sauvin & Motueka hops. The former brings vinous white grape, while the latter is all zesty lime. This is slick, juicy and saturated in green dreaminess!

For those after some straight crispy goodness, look no further than their German-style Pilsner. Clean, and highly drinkable, a light malt sweetness builds into a gentle bitterness with fizzing noble hop character lending delicate floral aroma alongside subtle spicy notes. With a bright and zippy carbonation elevating a snappy finish, it's a beauty bound for multiple visits. Lastly, we have their brand new 05 IPA which is an all-English affair, hopped with new wave Opus, Godiva and Jester! Canned just this Wednesday, expect a well balanced malt backbone with citrus, lychee and spice character, for an intriguing affair proving local hops can deliver those same fruity New England flavours we know and love.

As usual we've sweetened the deal even further with double loyalty points across our Brewery Of The Week in-store, with 10% of 6 or more online. You can sign up at your local or feel free to shoot us a message at info@claptoncraft.co.uk if you're not already part of the club!

After the success of our Mezcal Margarita we were absolutely desperate to work once again with Gavin Connell, and with our sustainable core cotton carriers flying out of stock, we hatched a plan for something a little more luxurious and limited edition...

Celebrating the one true oasis, whatever the season (the beer shop) these fresh bags are emblazoned with our Desert Island Drinks design, and printed on a 100% natural, Organic cotton Tote. It's safe to say we're absolutely delighted at how these came out with the colours and charming detail ridiculously on point. A big shout out once again to Gavin who helped us realise our tropical paradise.

Debuting first online, we don't expect these to hang around, though we'll have a shipment out to all our shops from next Thursday, September 22nd!

A pioneering natural Bordeaux estate run by fifth generation growers Catherine and Jean-Luc Hubert, ChΓ’teau Peybonhomme-Les-Tours are located in the hillside town of Cars overlooking the idyllic Gironde river. Originally classified as Premier Cru in 1868, they've been organic and biodynamic since 2000 with a strong focus on maintaining a healthy, vibrant ecosystem that encompasses flora, fauna and animal life. Breaking just about every cliche associated with the commercialised world of today's Bordeaux their wines are low-yield, terroir-driven, fresh and outstanding value for money, appealing to natural wineheads and classic lovers alike.

Consequently, we were thrilled to have the rare opportunity to bring an ample selection directly to the UK ourselves. Offering up deep, vibrant comforting reds ideal for when the darker nights swoop in soon, expect silky, rich, heady beauties that bring bramble freshness and minerality in spades. With six cuvees in total, we have a rather embarrassing set of riches for you. Lead by Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Sauvignon and Malbec grapes there's top shelf wonders and accessible bottles aplenty.

A veritable unicorn in the Craft Beer world, we're incredibly lucky to have snagged a small drop of some extremely rare specials from Cantillon, and we thought we'd give our subscribers first dibs on these! Doused in fleshy fruit flavour, and farmhouse funk we have a trio of sharers available right now, all strictly one per person.

From their tangy Rhubarb wonder Nath, to their Merlot infused St. Lamvinus or blue honeysuckle blended Sang Bleu we've been blessed with quality rather than quantity here. As always, you can enter code 'COLLECTION' online to guarantee stock for free delivery to any of our stores (just shoot us an email upon receiving your order confirmation), however fair warning our next transfer won't be until next week - just think of it as letting them cellar a little while...
