We're pushing the Bank Holiday boozy boat out this week with everything from South African stunners courtesy of Testalonga, to a launch and giveaway with Bermondsey OGs Partizan and hoppy home comforts in Verdant and DEYA freshies. There's also picks from the likes of Swedish sour sensations Morgondagens, juice-gods Wylam, Cider stalwarts Oliver's and Bagnum belters from Le Grappin. Of course there's a fair bit more to take in (including a late drop of ABC essentials you need to ask about in your local), so without further ado, get reading!

Partizan actually began with an end, more specifically that of founder Andy Smith's career in fine dining. An avid homebrewer he sought to do the most obvious thing, and brew the hard to get, out-there brews encountered on his travels in the US. Soon growing admirers, The Kernel kindly offered to pass on their original brew kit, and upon enlisting the services of Alec Doherty (the artist responsible for those brilliantly designs) the brewery quickly took shape. Having stocked their beers since day one, and after launching their first run of cans we're delighted to help introduce their slinky new cylindrical core range!
A German Pils, dry-hopped with European hops (in this case Tettnanger) for maximum aroma - the Italian Pils has often been criticised as an apocryphal or confused style. However, we'll hear none of this slander, as Partizan's unfiltered Italo Pils is just that, more saturated, more lush, just as crisp and definitely more of a disco vibe than your usual lager. Meanwhile, Dee Dee sees the Bermondsey clan skyrocket their dry-hopping rate for a bold, juicy affair. Layered with tropical, resinous notes, it's punchy sure, but there's also far more craft to it than your average NE Pale.
We're overjoyed to see their mainstay Porter hit 440 form too, pouring a dark ruby in colour this features notes of caramel, coffee and cacao with supreme drinkability to boot. An all-time Belgian-inspired great, their Lemon & Thyme Saison has always been a summery, crispy crusher. Zesty, dry and with a tangy citrus acidity, this is beautifully tempered by a subtle herby addition. Lastly, a fresh batch of their ever-popular Pale and hefty IPA join the pack, though these are sure not to hang around.
To celebrate six absolute belters from the dons at Partizan we're delighted to be giving away two mega prizes! For every Partizan purchase loyalty members make online or in store you'll gain an entry into the draw to win a pint and a pizza for four people at the Partizan taproom plus a mixed six pack of new release cans, all wrapped up in a beautifully designed tote bag. And, with double loyalty points across the board there's simply no reason to not get involved!

It's fair to say we've been huge fans of Craig and Carla's Testalonga El Bandito and Baby Bandito projects for some time. Unpretentious, and embodying pure grape power, their emphasis on vibrancy makes them continually sure fire bets. And, we're delighted to welcome in the long-awaited return of Chenin Blanc favourites the aromatic, dry Keep On Punching and Stay Brave, a 10 day skin contact, full of fresh grippy fun. In addition there's Carignan cracker Follow Your Dreams, which is full of bright acidity, with notes of cranberry, pomegranate and sour, earthy cherries. Finally, a top cuvee in Cortez is another Chenin classic with fine minerality and racy texture. Think brioche, tangerine, fennel, bright herbs and sheer vigour by the bucketload. We recommend bagging yourself some of this Summer in a bottle ASAP...

Don't say we don't treat you! This time around we have a quartet of hazy happiness apiece from the UK's finest juice slingers in Verdant and DEYA. Up top, some Cornish classics, including the return of sherbety stone fruit pale There Will Be No Intervals and sweaty favourite, Mosaic DIPA One More PSI? While newbie imperial Dipper's Delight promises 'a truly panoramic vista of fruit and pine hop flavours' in addition to the fresh, lime-gooseberry NZ IPA Sniffing the Wrong People. Alongside we have some saturated haze from the Crocs in the form of Invoice Me For The Microphone and biscuity pale Dust My Broom. And, we're also delighted to have two mega DIPAs, including a brand-spanking new creamy Southern Hemisphere banger, Swam The Straits Of Johor. Finishing things off As I Walked Out On Spring Morning, boasts bright tangerine and citrus notes from all-star Citra and Strata hops. Be warned though, there's just a half case of each radiant New England landing, so be quick if you want to sup 'em all...
