F A N S !

We've been absolutely delighted with the response to all the shops reopening, and your considerate understanding of all the safety measures that have been put in place. Now that all the cardboard boxes have just about been tidied away it's great to see some familiar faces - and get a healthy dose of normality with dishing beers out the old fashioned way - so a massive thanks for your continued support.

Our Online Shop is however still firing on all cylinders, with new arrivals for beer, wine and spirits added throughout the week. We'll now be dispatching all orders shipped via next working day delivery on a Parcelforce 24 hour service, meaning your order should arrive within 2 working days.

BREWERY OF THE WEEK

Having pestered Leyton-based Gravity Well for a frankly embarrassing amount of time, we're ecstatic to have finally received the debut cans from these real ones to watch. Cutting their teeth with an exceptional array of hoppy pales at their taproom (and occasionally ours) has led to four refined, yet utterly smashable brews. With half the team having visited at some point earlier this year it's fair to say we all agree that these are the real deal.

Leading the charge is Cosmic Dust, their 3.8% session stunner which easily packs the punch of most beers twice the strength. The eminently popular, and fantastically green, Galaxies Apart joins alongside Termination Shock and Kveik It Simple, an all-Citra hopped juicy behemoth fermented with the the clean Norwegian Kveik yeast, conjuring brilliant bubblegum and tropical esters.

To celebrate we're offering double loyalty points in store on all their beers, so ensure you make the most of it this week! If you're yet to sign up you can join in store, or feel free to shoot us an email and we can do the rest.

SNATCHING VICTORY
FROM THE JAWS OF DEFEAT

We've been searching far and wide for ready to drink cocktails that don't remind us of sickly sweet, train-ready G&Ts - but with little success. Step in Victory with four new cocktails that run the gamut, packing both punch and drinkability. If you can't wait to put an end to rifling the kitchen cupboards for that obscure set of bitters, or googling a substitute for that liqueur Victory have very skilfully done the work for you.

Their trademark Fizz features Victory Vodka, distilled with unroasted green coffee, combined with elderflower and backed up by a subtle touch of distilled black pepper. And, if that somehow doesn't take your fancy there's also the enticing Fig Leaf G&T, garden-ready Peach & Blood Orange Spritz, and a classic Negroni.

If of course you fancy making up your own concoction, we've also got their VodkaBitter Aperitivo, and Cold Distilled Gin available!

Pressure Drop return with Circuits, a classic New England IPA spiked with Citra and Ekuanot hops alongside a much needed resupply of the modern classic, Pale Fire. It's been far too long without CC stalwarts Time & Tidea situation we've remedied with a bumper crop of six beers from Kent's finest including fresh Manfred DDH IPA, their crispy unfiltered helles Lighthouse Lager and their ever crushable SIPA Urban Goose.

Joining the new releases ranks we have your usual supply of the latest and greatest from Verdant in the form of fan-favourite Mary Lou, and the super creamy, punchy Solid State, one of two new collabs with sought after hop farmers Yakima Chief. The second from Drop Project features the highly the highly rated and imaginatively named experimental hop TRI2304CR. Their new DIPA - Vanguard - promises to be an intensely dank affair, with notes of deep stone fruit, backed by a full, oat-filled body. Re-ups of recent favourites Shifty and Cruiser also feature, while BS Salad is a much needed clean West-Coast number from some of the best committed to making the style.

For a darker, more indulgent experience we've got super limited quantities of Siren's latest take on Broken Dream. For this one their ever-popular breakfast stout is spun on maple wood along with their very own rum barrel aged coffee, developed in collaboration with Quarter Horse. Brick also aren't holding anything back with their latest, a Double Watermelon & Lime Gose. Watermelon juice provides a sweet summery taste, balanced by tangy lime zest and a subtle salinity typical of the gose style. Nothing watery there, then. Not forgetting their new Strata Pale with notes of pungent blueberry and sticky stone fruit.
