That's right our fastest ever selling collab is back in action! Devising this classic lager last November with the brilliant Braybrooke team was a true highlight in-between Lockdown Hell. A labour of love, our clean, five-week lagered Helles sees 100% Bamberg Pilsner malt as the perfect backbone for floral, dank Hallertau Tradition and vibrant, citrusy Spaltz Select hops for a lager of truly mega, suppable proportions. And, now we've dialled in the recipe for an even crisper, drier finish - and an even more crushable abv of just 4.5%. With another brew close on the horizon we hope Clapton Helles might just be available on a far more regular basis.
To welcome back our old friend we're offering double loyalty points on bottles and all fills for a fortnight (or until it runs out...). Of course we haven't forgotten about those drink-in destinations, and we've got a massive triple points on pints, halves, two-thirds and whatever denomination you want to sip a cold one with us. Offbeat Wines began in 2018 as Daniel Ham’s outlet to express himself while making wine at Langham Wine Estate in Dorset. Now working with his wife Nicola in their own cellar (a converted barn just outside Salisbury) they've quickly become a cult favourite among natural heads in the know, despite making some of the smallest volumes in the UK. Originally marine biologists, Dan was bitten by the winemaking bug in New Zealand whilst living out there to complete Nicola’s PhD. But, as the Offbeat project continues to slowly expand and the search for responsibly farmed fruit continues, the plan is for Nicola to transition from her work in ecology and step into the vines full time, with the family hoping to be on a farm of their own in the future.
Importing grapes from across the country, all their cuvees are fermented with wild yeasts and no sulphur added, with the majority from organic and biodynamic vineyards. Reflective of their desire to simply make wines they want to drink Along the Watchtower is a direct-pressed, amphora aged Pinot Meunier with fruit sourced from a small plot in Dorchester. As a result this is straight coppery peach juice, with malolactic fermentation occurring for a creamy, oily texture. The English answer to a great Lambrusco, we also have an experimental effort, and a true one-off in MV01 (Melbury Vale). A Col-Fondo style field blend from the chalk hills of Dorset this is a beguiling blend of juicy fruit and herbal goodness. Proving the real potential of English wine, we thoroughly recommend getting ahead of the curve with these two from Offbeat!

Celebrating their 6th Birthday with a mega 4th of July Battersea blowout, Mondo are showcasing some rather exclusive collaboration beers with J. Wakefield and Tank, alongside friends Prairie Fire dishing out the finest BBQ on Friday and Moxons Fresh Fish shucking oysters on the Saturday. And, not wanting to miss out on the action they've been so kind as to send our way some rather bonkers cans live and direct from the Miami masters.
Serving up some of the finest sours in the business, we have three efforts from Tripping Animals. A member of what they call the tantalising, "Gummy Saurus Series' Brontosaurus is a dense pastry sour packed with peach, marshmallows, vanilla, and lactose. Following suit, The Ultimate Trip sees blueberry and pistachio get the same creamy treatment, for a decadent dessert sour, with NEIPA Ever Haze providing some juicy reinforcement. In addition we have a mega TIPA, Just Up The River, from J. Wakefield as well as their German-inspired apricot cake Sour (yes you read that right) Aprikosenkuchen. Finally, we have some sinkable efforts from Tank just to balance things out. La Playita arrives as a much needed clean and classic Pils, while Poolside Promises is a silky, drinkable NEIPA well worth diving into.
