Just how are we ten days from Christmas Day? Frankly, who knows, but you best believe we've got some top-tier deliveries to get you (and us) in the festive spirit. Think Verdant, Time & Tide and Track. Don't we have it lucky!

Then, a reminder that we have our guaranteed Xmas delivery deadlines for the Webshop approaching. That means you need to get your order in by midday Tuesday (19th Dec) in the UK or Thursday 12pm (21st Dec) for Londoners within the M25. Don't fret though, we'll be packing and dispatching right through Friday 22nd for your last-minute and NYE needs.

Before we crack on though, as always we'll have extended hours in the shops throughout the silly season. That means we'll be blasting open the doors from 11am or earlier next week. You can check the times below for the shops (drink-in sites Finsbury, Wood St and Balham will be open later) and we'll be back in the New Year from the 3rd January ready and waiting for you...

Comfortably one (if not the) finest hop-forward producers in the UK, and dare we say the world, we never get tired of showering praise on the mighty Verdant. In fact, our collaboration two years ago still brings back fond memories, with Dream Within A Dream, well, a dream come true, lining them up as a shoe-in for our Brewery Of The Year 2021

We'll be back next week to declare our heroes for this year, but Verdant have done absolutely no wrong in the meantime. Building upon an already exceptional arsenal of juicy joy, with some epic returning specials, a cemented cask range, and an increase in stylistic variation - there's truly been nothing stopping them.

And, for the last drop of Cornish crushers in 2023, we've gone in on some exceptional offerings. Up top, they picked their favourite Pale Ale and IPA of the year, The First Note and Uncensored Sports Parade respectively, to rebrew especially for the holiday season.

The former was originally made with the Tate Modern, and lovingly decorated as such, with the contents a 5.2% dank, juicy banger in their house style. While, the aforementioned IPA saw them team up with Barcelona beer royalty Garage for a lean, mean festival of citrus, tropics and hedgerow-weedy funk. It's good to have them back!

Alongside these heavy hitters, you'll be able to fill your fridge with their original bright idea, the crispy clean XPA, Lightbulb. In a similar vein, People Money Space Time returns in an even more pocket-friendly format at 3.4%. Bursting with tangerine dream aromas, this is saturated in fruity fun, for a real feat of flavour-to-volume brewing.

Rounding things off, we have something a little more left-field (though nonetheless exciting, especially if you tried their recent ESB) in the form of an East India Porter. As such, Alternative Currency is a cross between a classic Porter, and a modern biting West Coast number. A Black IPA then? Maybe. Anyway, this is full of resinous, piney hops with a comforting, biscuit malt backbone, it doesn't get much better for a seasonal slugger by way of Verdz.

Whatever you pick up from these fine folks, you'll be getting double loyalty points in-store, with 10% off 6 or more beers online until next Friday. Make it count though, as we'll have to wait until the New Year for anything more from this dream team!

Does anyone make as well-priced, drinkable, Pales and IPAs as Time & Tide? Well, it's a debate we're more than willing to have over our third can of returning hero Spratwaffler. Adding to the fray this week, the older brother of that OG IPA Super Sprat doubles the formula for a still utterly sluggable, yet hazy, thick affair. Think deep passion fruit, mango and lychee with a lip-smacking finish.

If juicy single-hop Citra numbers somehow aren't your thing then frothy, floral Pilsner Wanderlust might do the trick instead. Failing that, the last of seasonal slurper Tinsel Town, with its dose of succulent stone fruit goodness is a crowd-pleaser for sure.

Lastly, newcomer Smesh straddles the line between Table Beer and Session IPA wonderfully. Still at a bitesize 3.4% expect radiant mango and lime following an insane dry hop of Mosaic, Galaxy, Motueka and Vic Secret. No doubt one to double up on - though couldn't we say that about all these Kent classics?

We just couldn't sign off 2023 without one final Track delivery! Having postively smashed it again this year, we've relished getting more and more from these Manc maestros.

This week that of course, means a metric tonne of Sonoma for the dads and all-day drinking crew. We needn't remind you just how tasty, or endlessly suppable this is. Next, the similarly uber-refreshing Long Stretch is a single-hop Mosaic masterpiece, with sticky, bitter citrus peel flavour and a crisp finish to boot. It doesn't hurt it's also Gluten Free! As to another zippy GF Pale Ale treat, Time Flies is laced with notes of tropical fruits, freshly cut grass and sweet lemon.

Dialling up the juice factor Fields Of Gold is the first IPA in Europe to feature a brand new hop, NZ-101, which is being trial-phased with breweries all across the world. Brimming with qualities of fresh mango, sweet papaya, and tinned peaches the ultra low bitterness allows this hop to really shine, giving an almost candy-like quality.

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Messorem have been making some of the best beer Track has tasted from North America. It follows then they'd team up for their first UK collab, a hazy, custardy DIPA named Voyage. This is straight sunshine in a can, with fresh lime, tart gooseberry and slushy mojito character.

On the other end of the spectrum, if you're looking for maximum thirst-quenching goodness, Hop Water Citra marks their first-ever sparkling water. Crafted for refreshment with zero sugar, zero calories, zero alcohol and 100% hydration it will still satisfy your hoppiest cravings. It's safe to say we've got you covered on everything green and good this time around!
