We're delighted to be in your inboxes once more, but with so much to cover we're going to get straight down to boozy business. As alluded to last week we have those flash new Desert Island Drinks T-Shirts designed in collaboration with Gavin Connell arriving any moment now. Though you can secure one online if you're worried about your chosen size flying out.
Taking the top spot though is those mighty crocs, DEYA, while we return for an in-depth look at some Swedish smoke courtesy of Mackmyra, with a little freebie for those online goers. Sandwiched between, we've got a call out for any potential new team members with two roles open across the shops!
Meanwhile, dropping on that Webshop of ours, we're pretty privileged to have some limited new specials from Belgian royalty, Tilquin, as well as beers at the very other end of the Sour spectrum from Pastry lords Vault City. Of course, there's also plenty of choice cuts at each location including Howling Hops, Abyss, Little Pomona, and more. So, on we go...

What's there to say that hasn't already been said about DEYA before? Once cult favourites, they've now become one of the most sought after breweries in the UK, and with a move to a new brewery secured in 2020 they've since been able to hone (and crucially match demand with supply of) an exceptional range of hoppy heaven.
Balancing pure green power alongside unparalleled drinkability, we're delighted to offer a bumper crop of sumptuous new specials and a few returning greats for you this week. So, you probably needn't fret about your local approaching the tail end of their supplies as quickly as usual with the full juice spectrum on offer - though you never quite know with this lot...
Up top, a few faithful returnees, though these are anything but predictable. Super suppable Session Pale Magazine Cover is all zippy citrus flavour, with a crisp, quenching finish. While, silky IPA Glue is dripping with tropical lime and tangerine, complete with a tangy umami edge.
Hoppy Pils Nelson is the latest in their single-hop running Lager series. Expect a bright, clean, classic Pilsner with a little gooseberry goodness to boot. Continuing on a theme Saturated In Nelson makes its yearly return. An all-NZ DIPA, this is a heady white grape, citrus rind, and pine concoction with a suitably slick, mouth-coating body. Delish!
Joining the fray we have a trio of slurpable Pales with all-day drinking, fridge-filling potential. Table Beer Lil Chu is the lightest of the bunch - though it's packed with dank mango and fruity caramel flavour at an impressively low 2.8% stature.
We Are Sorry To Announce showcases the often erroneously controversial hop Sabro with suitable restraint, so yes there's pina colada fun, but also a little more rounded tropical quality. Finally, In Balance is brewed with Loral and Idaho 7 hops for juicy lychee and sherbety sweet orange fun to complete a rather bountiful range of sub-five percent sluggers.
Whether you're a DEYA aficionado or it's the first chance to dip your toes in the murky waters, there's never been a better time to pick up something from Cheltenham's finest. We've got double loyalty points in-store with 10% off six or more online until next Friday. Win. Win. Win.

Continuing our celebration of all things Swedish Whisky with Mackmyra, we're putting the spotlight on one of their most popular entries this week, and an Islay-lover's dream at that. Svensk RΓΆk (meaning Swedish smoke) is the only Single Malt made exclusively from ingredients native to the country. Both malting and smoking takes place in a facility situated close to the distillery using homegrown barley and peat drawn from the nearby Karinmossen (peat bog). And, to add a further Swedish dimension to the smoky flavour, the glowing peat is seasoned with subtly sweet juniper twigs, inspired by their tradition of preserving food.
The result is an award-winning Whisky that is fragrant and rich, yet clean and precise. With aromas of peat, vanilla fudge, and juniper, things get more smoky on the palate with oak, light tobacco and gently mineral herbs taking the fore. Completed by a welcomingly dry finish, this is as opulent and as daring as it is drinkable. Be sure to swing by for a preview with free tastings at both our Clapton spot from 4-8pm TODAY (Fri 14th) and Wood St TOMORROW (Sat 15th) from 3-5pm... or take the plunge at the link below.
What's more, we're offering a FREE Mackmyra miniature with all orders over Β£50 on the Webshop while stocks last, so even if you just want to pick up some beers this week, you can taste a little from the Swedish spirit sorcerers anyway...

Lambics legends in their own right, and second in stature perhaps only to Cantillon, Tilquin are a blendery based in the mainly French-speaking, southern region of Wallonia in Belgium. Exclusively the only outlet to be allowed to blend old lambics from Boon, Lindemans, Girardin, and Cantillon, they've become world renowned for their fruit-infused efforts.
Consequently, we're absolutely delighted to have their extremely limited Rhubarbe, Syrah, Rullquin, and Roussanne varietals fresh in, along with the release of some older cellar stock. For fans of sour, funky, farmhouse flavour there's nothing better than cracking open a bottle of this special stuff, so snag some online below, or use code 'COLLECTION' for free P+P and send us an email, if you'd like to pick something up next week in person at any of our shops.
Gastronomical greats and flavour forerunners Vault City are ever-present over Online, but their sour-meets-sweet-tooth selection is always worth mentioning, with a decadent trio just arriving through the doors.
Blackcurrant Choc Chip Waffle is remarkably the most sessionable of the bunch with juicy dark fruit combining with zingy sourness over deep, luxurious pastry flavour. Next, one of their most popular efforts ever, Strawberry Woo Woo makes its 2022 outing. This jammy, luxurious cocktail-inspired is as dazzling in colour as it is in taste. Lastly, Blueberry Pumpkin Spice Latte is a seasonal slammer that needs no introduction. Warming spices and tart, vivid blueberry, makes for comfort personified. Sign us up for all three...
