Going down a treat each and every time they've graced the shelves and fridges of CC, we're glad to see you love Burnt Mill as much as we do! Founded on a barn in the idyllic Suffolk countryside in 2017, they've become renowned for their impeccably balanced, hop-forward beers.
With a particular focus on drinkability and West Coast styles, they've truly taken the Sierra Nevada torch and run with it, reminding us of why we got into this craft beer malarkey in the first place. And, we can think of no better way to toast their successes, than with six fresh suds through the doors...
Of course, there's always a place in our hearts for Pintle, easily one of the most consistent and rewarding Pales in the UK, this is full of effortlessly sinkable, bright, crisp citrus and pine. Alongside, there's a duo of supplementary West Coast Pales, with Lights On The Shore and Little Green. Both of which are Gluten Free, DDH affairs with delicious resinous, rich grapefruit key for the former, and moreish, tropical notes for the latter.
As for some full-on juice power, their greatest hits series sees them bring back a much-loved, Burnt Mill classic, Citra Fog! Here, extra pale, flaked oats and chit malt make up the grist keeping the beer nice and soft, while the Citra hops bring their beautiful characteristic of ripe citrus fruits to meld with the peachy esters from their house yeast.
In tandem, their (GF) Helles provides some Lager love, carrying with it all the hallmarks of the classic style, with soft, bready luxury and a rounded, light fruity bitterness. Finally, chocolate Porter Big Sur Moon delivers big on comforting, dense dark notes. Whirlpooled with cacao husks there's a decadence there, but thanks to cold conditioning and fermentation with a clean Lager yeast, everything is still kept nice and drinkable.
As ever, we have the rather enticing offer of double loyalty points in-store or 10% off 6 or more if you'd like some Burnt Mill bangers delivered straight to your door. That is if we leave any for all of you, these are staff favourites, and for good reason...

We just couldn't help ourselves from diving into that hazy Cheltenham water once again! This means a fresh dose of Steady Rolling Man, and also a resupply of our own Pale with the mighty crocs, in Look At Us Now. We've been blown away by the response to this sherbety, juicy, lemon-peachy number, so grab a can before it's too late.
Adding to those hoppy supplies, Lost In A Cloud sees them team up with St Austell for a new wave meet classic Pale Ale. Fermented with their soft, foamy, house yeast this was then hopped with UK Phoenix and Bramling Cross, and then dosed liberally with Citra, Strata and HBC 586 for lots of sweet tropical fruit and a touch of light berry. A measured juice explosion if that's possible!
Dialling things up to eleven levels of dank, DIPA Sound Machine Groove is not to be trifled with. Here, a rounded fleshy tropical fruit character meets citric complexity in a dangerously drinkable 8.0% package. On the other end of the style spectrum, their Harvest Lager is a celebration of UK malting heritage and modern brewing culture. Brewed with 100% UK ingredients and fermented with our pals Braybrooke's yeast, this is full of malty, toffee, amber goodness.

The Vicini family originally moved to the area of Pescara, in southern Abruzzo, Italy, back in the 1500s, as wool merchants with agricultural holdings, though the cantina for wine operations was constructed in 1853. The godmother to their wines, Giuliana herself was born in 1925 from the combined marriage between Giustino Ciavolich and Geppina Berardi.
Amidst the repressive patriarchal precedent of the 20th century, it was impossible for her to even manage her part of the property. Though at the age of 95, she left her estate to her niece Chiara Ciavolich, on the condition that the wine was now produced in her own name, and that of her beloved grandmother Vicini, so that she could finally redeem her lineage.
Now symbolic of the more forward-thinking movement of winemaking in Italy, the processes at the vineyard today reflect this move to authenticity. Grapes are picked by hand and are gently pressed, with fermentation occurring in steel vats for the purest form of the eminently drinkable local varieties.
As a result, we have a trio of vinos, purpose-built for elevated everyday drinking. Versatile, and food friendly, they're primed for that park picnic, or friend of a friend of a friend's party. So what are you waiting for...
Pecorino - A beguiling ancient variety indigenous to Abruzzo. Giuliana's Organic interpretation is dry & mineral with enticing aromas of jasmine, lemongrass & hay.
Trebbiano d'Abbruzzo - A super rendition of one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world. Textbook citrus, white flower & bitter almond aromas with a saline, mineral finish.
Montepulciano d'Abbruzzo - Generous & deep fruited with fleshy plum & blackberry fruit. Sumptuous & savoury on the palate with touches of leather, earth & spice.
