Beaujolais Nouveau may be in the rearview mirror, with just a handful of delights remaining at the link below or at your local, but that's not all for the boozy bangers this week. In fact, we're ecstatic to have the mighty Daiquiri Dreaming with Brick making its comeback with a fresh lick of paint, and fruit combo too with our latest Sour slammer featuring Strawberry & Apricot!

The eagle-eyed amongst you might have noticed our BRAND NEW TUMBLER GLASSES, which will be landing across all the shops next week. Made by glassware legends Rastal these 2/3 Pint glasses are the perfect vessel for anything from Lager, to Imperial Stout, hazy New England, juicy red vino, or zingy Pet Nat, and of course, Daiquiri Dreaming as pictured down below. On the events front, we're delighted to have Hugo Harrison cooking up some Autumnal aces at the Depot this Thursday (24th Nov) for our second-ever CC Nights following on from our Sold Out evening with Ixta Belfrage. Meanwhile, pallets aplenty have resulted in mainstays Verdant and Time & Tide returning in all their juicy splendour. Finally, we have some highlights around the grounds, from our expert selectors. We've teased it long enough, but finally our collaboration, Daiquiri Dreaming makes its return! Masters of seasonality and finesse since 2013 Brick have built their fantastic reputation from the ground up, having honed an inimitable core range while garnering a cult following for their sensational Sour beers. As such it was an absolute privilege to step inside the brewery again and work alongside them. We believe it will most certainly live up to their superb lineage, and the fantastic feedback we received from our debut effort...

Once again we designed this juicy, rounded, cocktail-inspired, sunset-shaded Sour to transport you from the Costa Del Clapton right to the Caribbean in one sip. This time the base of our ALL VEGAN Daiquiri Dreaming is derived from a high proportion of oats, wheat, and dextrin malt to create that full, luscious, and thick mouthfeel we know and love. The perfect platform for saturated fruit flavour to shine, jammy wild strawberry and vibrant apricot added in juice and puree combine with a moderately sour finish for a clean, yet mouth-coating Sour. With sherbety, citrus undertones, this is straight sunshine in a can, when we need it most of all!

It's not all collab-centric though, with plenty more delights where that came from this week. Up first, Spice 'N Stem sees them work alongside fellow gastronomical-inspired greats Vault City on a rhubarb, ginger, and habanero crumble Sour. Expect fresh tartness, and warming herbaceousness with a lick of spicy intrigue - beauty! Adding to that we have Mr Briskโ€™s Cold IPA with pals Lost Pier. Never had a cold IPA before? Think all the hop character of a dry hopped IPA, a crisp malt base similar to that of a Lager, then to tingle the taste buds, a rich, full bitterness pushing on West Coast IPA levels.

Of course, we also have a strong supply of their classics like the crispy-clean GF Peckham Helles and trademark, vibrant citrusy Peckham Pale as well as their pioneering Peckham Pils and smashable Session IPA. Yes, it's our second ever CC Nights down the depot and we're delighted to invite Hugo Harrison to Wood Street for three courses of autumn fare and libations aplenty - to say farewell to the last days of the season, and to welcome in winter. An alumni of the Jamie Oliver Food Team, and with a restaurant opening in Spring 2023, Malverleys, we can't wait to have him down before he gets too big for us!

Tickets are ยฃ35 per person and include three courses (see menu below), kicking off from 7.30pm this Thursday 24th Nov. Many of the ingredients will come from the market garden of his upcoming Hampshire restaurant, but due to the nature of the intimate taproom and menu, we are able to offer meat-free options though sadly cannot cater for dietary restrictions besides.

It's been far too long since we had a proper re-up from Verdant or Kent's Time & Tide for that matter but we're righting those wrongs with a juicy foursome and a quintet of fridge filling essentials apiece.

Leading the Cornish charge is the answer to the eternal pronunciation question, It's Pronounced Verdant. "Verdant. VER-DANT (/หˆvษœห.dษ™nt/)", if that clears anything up whatsoever! It's no secret they love Mosaic hops, and having never done a single-hop IPA with it before they've gone hard with the inaugural effort. Hopped thrice cold side for maximum fruit stank and buffered by a touch more oaty malt depth to hold it all up, this is pure Mosaic magnificence.

For some more appropriate midweek drinking, sluggable citric banger and a real favourite round these parts People Money Space Time returns, while we've also got the mighty Marylou and Headband back in good supply. For those who haven't dove into the murky water recently, the former is a wonderfully tangy peach and apricot affair. While the latter is all bittersweet, lush orange dankness - think mango-caramel and stinky cheese, but in a good way.

Rest assured we'll also have the internet-breaking Whale Sharks on these shores very soon...

As to those South Coast suds, we just couldn't miss out on a fresh batch of the all-Citra session slurper Spratwaffler. Oozing with bright citrus and vibrant mango notes it's a feat of flavour to volume brewing at just 3.7%. Alongside, we have their crispy-clean Helles Lighthouse Lager as well as the zippy, grapefruit-esque SIPA wonder Urban Goose.

Collaborating with AF up-and-comers Lowtide we're also thrilled to introduce Changing Tides a zesty lil' Citrus Pale Ale, bound for all-day slurping at 0.5%. Finally, it might not quite be Christmas time just yet, but we've got our eyes on some new decorations with Tinsel Town. This festive fun-packed IPA features Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Mosaic for huge notes of candied lemon and lime with tangy grape to boot. Perfect to cut through that big roast, it might be worth loading up the fridge - just in case.
