When it rains it absolutely pours, but you'll be pleased to know we've got our own set of hefty suds showers in-store for you!
This week sees a long overdue full feature on Lewes legends, Beak, with about as fine a crop as you've ever seen from this lot, featuring plenty of juicy joy and just a few wildcards thrown in for good measure.
Next up, there's a mini DEYA drop coming your way, because why not? Siren and Queer collabs had us more than intrigued, and the rate you lot are diving through our supplies only solidified our need for more Chelt crackers.
Moving over to the world of the Web and our delightful Online Store gets a little love. We've had recent drops from Cantillon, The Kernel, Pastore, Vault City, Verdant, and more, all ready to be delivered straight from the cold store to your door after just a few clicks.
Last, but not least in our neighbourhood joints we glance over a few top-notch offerings. Think Boatyard Distillery (NW5) and World Sake (SW12) with free tastings tonight respectively, plus Gravity Well, Henry Fuchs, Oliver's and more. Read on to hear all about it...

Beginning life as a nomadic project run by food and drink writer Daniel Tapper, it took several years for the Beak we know and love to find fruition. Scraping enough money together to guest brew three or four times a year at some of the UK's greatest breweries like Burning Sky, and Northern Monk, Tapper honed his recipes before joining forces with Robin Head-Fourman.
Introduced by Newbarns co-founder Jonny Hamilton, Robin had been working at nearby Burning Sky for four years before they took the leap to make the project permanent, laying roots in the East Sussex town of Lewes, just outside Brighton.
Set against the magnificent cliffside, with an award-winning taproom and street food canteen in tow, they've become best known for their juicy, hop-forward IPAs, a sprinkling of crispy Lagers, decadent Stouts and a small, seasonally brewed mixed-fermentation project.
Flying out the fridges each and every time, we're delighted to have a bumper drop to satiate your South Coast suds needs, and hopefully last past the weekend (though probably not!).
Frothy herbal Czech Pils Dest is of course back in fine fettle, as well as their trademark IPA Parade, which is brimming with mango bubblegum and tangerine vibes. New core range Pale Hum fits the Beak mould beautifully too, with lashings of Idaho 7, Motueka and Cashmere hops paired alongside a voluptuous body to support super ripe tropical fruit flavours.
Stepping things up a notch their freshest IPA Lids is sweet, tangy and bitter all at once delivering a bucks fizz-esque bang at 7.0%. Meanwhile, DIPA Intervals is suitably pillowy soft with a deft orange rind, floral rose and sticky strawberry punch.
As to those aforementioned left-field wonders, we have a rare Imperial Stout from the gang, in Valleys. Layered with caramelised malts before being aged over copious amounts of cacao and vanilla, this is a molasses, Nutella, rum-soaked raisin dream.
Finally, ...And The Red Leviathan is a special Sour Ale brewed using a unique blend of heritage grain grown a few miles from their brewery in the South Downs. Aged in an oak Chianti foudre for more than a year before being conditioned on 350kg fresh raspberries, this was then blended before bottling with a yuzu barrel-aged saison. Spritzy, and lightly tart with flavours reminiscent of almond, black cherry, lemon zest and pinot noir, it's equally impressive as it is delectable.
Don't forget to grab 10% off 6 or more Beak beers all this week on our Webshop, or load up on double loyalty points in-store. What are you waiting for with beers like these?

Yes, we're back to the home of haze this week for a duo of certified classics and two fresh-faced collab bangers. That means the return of bucket list beer, and Pale perfection itself in Steady Rolling Man. While Magazine Cover returns, though this time in certified Gluten Free form! Crispy and crushable, but with soft citrus notes, we're delighted to get this all-day drinker into more hands than ever.
Brewed to celebrate Siren's 10th Anniversary WiFi Beef is a suitably spectacular juicy IPA packing a-list Citra and Idaho 7 hops for creamy, unctuous tropical punch vibes. Featuring their first use of the transformers-sounding new hop Nectaron, Consequences sees them team up with an equal favourite of ours in Queer Brewing. Another banging IPA, expect waves of pineapple, peach and passion fruit over a clean, succulent malt base.
So, DEYA do it again, just who'd have thought it?!
