Though the dark clouds and downpours are circling in, we've got some boozy rays of sunshine to keep your spirits up this week! Up top, we have the long-awaited return of Sussex juice slingers, Arundel. Add to that a double headed drop of North and Verdant to keep the hopheads well-watered alongside some truly tantalising Natural Wine from Jumping Juice and you've got quite the line-up indeed. If that wasn't enough there's also a litany of new, and returning highlights, from the likes of Tottenham titans Pressure Drop, the ever-reliable Mondo, Hackney-Wick heroes Howling Hops, and cult favourites Drop Project. Now get that umbrella up and ready, it's raining bevs...

Cutting their brewing teeth since way back in 1992 Arundel now have an arsenal of cask classics including their supreme Sussex Gold, though innovation has never really been on the back-burner. Ever keen to experiment alongside their perfectly balanced ales, we've got six slamming, hop-forward beers coming at you. And, based at the rate you went through them on their debut drop (far too long ago) these are bound to fly out the fridges, and off the shelves!

Flagship NEIPA Uptown leads the way bringing vibrant tropical splendour in toe, while Wild Heaven offers clean citrus notes, alongside a fresh and light body. The latest in their Pale Ale series, Clockwork dials up the OJ flavour with Mosaic providing dank, grassy notes in tandem with fruity Idaho 7 hops. For those hankering after something a little more sessionable, Printworks is an all-day drinking Table Beer banger, with virtually no bitterness. Meanwhile, Helles Of A Life delivers some much-needed crispy goodness to satiate even the thirstiest of drinkers. And, completing the set is Blackberry & Blackcurrant Sour Pick Your Own. Jammy, tart and similarly refreshing this marries compote fruit flavours (accentuated with vanilla and lactose) with zingy acidity to brilliant affect!

Don't forget to sign up to our Loyalty Club if you fancy earning double loyalty points on our Brewery Of The Week, Arundel. Ask in store, or shoot us a message at info@claptoncraft.co.uk...

Don't say we don't treat you! This time around its hazy heaven two ways, with heavyweights North and Verdant landing on Clapton shores. First up a quintet from the Leeds legends, with New Atlantis and Cryo Pop serving up the full juice factor. The former offers sweet blueberry and freshly cut pineapple flavour, while the latter sees famed hop farmers Yakima Chief help them concoct tangtastic mango, bright pineapple and creamy coconut fun for one popping single hop IPA! Continuing on a theme their Chow Down collab is a ridiculously light Mandarin + Orange Pale, liquid sunshine if you like. Peachy Sea Of Islands delivers more sessionability in an IPA brewed with experimental hop HBC 630 for waves of lemon juice and subtle stone fruit. Lastly, their latest Triple Fruited Gose, Strawberry & Gooseberry, is made from a big dose of oats, salt and lactose infused with pure organic puree for a true sour sensation.

Not wanting to miss out on the juice party, Falmouth faves Verdant are back with three classics and a brand new powerhouse IPA. Celebrating the mega Bigfoot Festival (of which we'll be attending!) See Food and Dance is soundtracked by Mosaic and Galaxy hops, firing dank and fruity hop grenades across your tongue with effortless ease. In support soft and sluggable pale People Money Space Time drinks way above its meagre ABV, and is crammed full of tropical indulgence and citric sharpness. While zingy pales 300 Laps Of Your Garden and Marylou marry lip-smacking gooseberry goodness with refreshing, reviving citrus flavour. Come on in, the murky water's fine!

Both cult winemakers in their own right, long-time friends Patrick Sullivan and Xavier Goodridge both happened to be working in Gippsland, Victoria when they decided to form an offshoot project, Jumping Juice. In turn set up as break from cellaring and industry seriousness, with the aim of championing fresh and funky wines designed to be drunk now rather than later. As Sullivan says, “you put the grapes into a fermenter, check to see if they smell OK, and if they do, then they’re probably fine… it’s all sensory”. We'd be hard pressed to disagree, and we're delighted to have a playful and picnic ready trio ready and waiting in all of our shops, and online.

Summer slurper Yellow Yellow opens proceedings, a whole bunch, tangy skin contact Sauvignon Blanc with wonderfully fragrant lychee, pineapple and peach aromas. Radiant Rose Sunset was a real favourite over Lockdown Number Who Even Knows Anymore. A zippy and herbal half-half blend of Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc, expect cut grass and gooseberry aromas floating over a juicy core of blackcurrant and raspberry. Finally, gluggable newcomer Pinot Noir offers up even more bright, aromatic juice, all with a surprising structure. Here, think fleshy nectarine and vibrant dark berries with a floral tinge. Fair warning - we've got a limited supply of all three so make sure you secure these boozy ice-lolly beating refreshers.
