Wait, what, another Bank Holiday?! May truly is the month that keeps on giving, so we've got another wave of juicy joy to keep you thirsty folk going. This week we're keeping it slightly lean and mean as a result of some long overdue holiday for the fine folk at Clapton Craft Content HQ.

Fret not, though there's more than enough to sink your teeth into, with the first proper drop from Overtone landing on these shores, including some absolutely outrageous bevs. We also welcome back Manchester maestros Track after a short stint away, bringing with them a rather comprehensive line-up.

Finally, we're delighted to have the Tottenham Juice Titansℒ️ themselves, Pressure Drop, taking over the taps at Wood St this weekend. We'll have the very first pour of New England IPA, Film School, as well as five other beers spanning the style spectrum. Yard Sale will of course be dishing out top-notch 'Zas too and we'll have a few members of the team down to have a natter with. You know the drill, be there or be square...

It's fair to say Glaswegian greats Overtone have been on our radar for quite some time to join the stable of our direct delivered delights - meaning lower prices, fresher suds, and more exclusive beers. In fact, the real heads might remember a TTO back in September 2019 with the rising stars at our Finsbury Park hideaway when they were just in their infancy.

Since then, they've gone from strength to strength, becoming acclaimed for their daring hoppy heaven and smoothie Sours. Consequently, we can't wait to share with you seven audacious, but lovingly crafted efforts this week in our inaugural drop from across the border.

Peachy session Pale Poolside Haze opens up proceedings in style, offering some sunshine-ready slurpability in spades, clocking in at just 3.0%. Following on, single hop showcase Simcoe Pale dishes out big, bright citrus flavours, with herbal grapefruit and resin delivering more deceptive drinkability.

Ramping things up just a tad, go-to IPA Weegie, is a fan favourite, and for good reason. With a light, fluffy malt bill forming the perfect base for juicy mango and succulent stone fruit to come to the fore, this needs to be available all year round. Then things get a little, well wondrously Overtone...

Scottish slang for an interjection of joy, Yaldi is an immediate, distinctly different delight. An Oat Cream NEIPA pairing pina colada Sabro hops, with luscious, indulgent lactose, file this next to a tropical milkshake. Speaking of smoothies, Capital Tropical is a guava and passion fruit ice cream Sour with litres of vanilla soft serve poured in. Extra thick, creamy, and decadent, just the way we like it! Meanwhile, blueberry and blackberry Sour, Turning Violet is a little more restrained, though nonetheless fruit-forward, this one's truly bound for tart all-day drinking.

Finally, Big Weegie is the older, far less mature sibling of their classic IPA. Here, a medley of citrus, melon, apricot and pine flavours combine in a behemoth of a Triple IPA. Bigger, but better? We'll leave that up to you, but there's no chance we're not taking a can home...

Of course, you can get to know these cult favourites with double loyalty points in-store, and 10% off 6 or more Overtone brews online. What are you waiting for?!

Going down a storm, each and every time they've passed through the CC doors, we can't get enough from Track at the moment! Thankfully, we've got another parcel of perfection with Sonoma front and centre. A masterclass of balance and sheer suppability, we've pretty much run out of hyperbole to accurately describe this desert island drinking, citrus-packed SIPA. We're also thrilled to have the delicate, crisp core cracker Luna returning in fine fettle. Lagered for six weeks this uber clean dry-hopped Pilsner really is something to behold.

Things are nothing but all-rounded this time around, with new Belgian Wit Sonder also making an appearance. Brewed with orange zest and coriander seed, this is a vibrant effort inspired by the US classics of the style, supplying freshly peeled citrus vibes aplenty.

There's no chance though we'd go without a re-up on juice supplies and High Hills, their collaboration with Rivington Brew Co for the running festival of the same name was a no-brainer. Pouring a milky yellow and hopped to hell and back with the DDH treatment of Citra, Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron, we expect big things. Adding to the line-up we have a signature Track tropical cocktail of an IPA in Change to Breathe. Oozing fleshy grapefruit, overripe mango and dank pineapple, this is a pillowy soft, sweet stunner.

Rounding things off DIPA Keep Awake aims to push the boundaries of process and flavour capacity once more. Utilising brand new Nelson Sauvin SubZero Hop Kief (what a name!) in association with aficionados Freestyle Hops this contains more concentrated lupulin (hop oils) than your average ingredient while improving efficiency. As such, they believe they've been able to achieve a creamier mouthfeel and a complex, juicier profile, improving already on a pretty faultless formula. You need this, we need this - for science!
